The final roof is always installed with a batten and a counter-batten. The product does not require a ventilation gap between the screen and the thermal insulation (mineral wool, glass wool, etc.), which means that the screen can be in direct contact with the insulation.  The final roof must always be installed over the screen using a batten and counter-batten.
